Cycle For A Cause

Four of us, who are graduating from BYU in April of ’10, have organized a bike ride down the entire state of Utah. Like most people, the plight of cancer has personally affected us all. By partnering with LIVESTRONG, the Lance Armstrong foundation, we are doing what we can to help in the fight against cancer. Our plan is to ride for 6 days, averaging 85 miles per day. We will be starting our journey on the shores of Bear Lake, and riding until we reach the red rocks of St. George. We are hoping that, with your help, we can make a difference. All donations will go directly and entirely to the LIVESTRONG foundation. If you are interested in getting involved by supporting this great cause, please just follow the “DONATE” link. Any amount that you are able to give will be greatly appreciated, Thank You.

Eric Teachout Bio

Eric (or as his friends call him, "Chout") is a very ambitious young man with a busy schedule ahead of him. This summer he is looking to bike the state of Utah, even though he doesn’t own a bike. He also plans to marry before summers end, despite the fact that he is 100% single. Additionally, he's looking to hit it big in the huge city (Washington D.C.), regardless of the fact that all he’s ever known is the tiny town of Athens, Michigan. (so small that there is no need for a single stop light). But he is on the right track, he knows that biking over 500 miles will help him trim the body (I mean really, look at that pic. This kid knows how to eat) which in turn will help him land the girl, who will then help him make a name for himself out east. But in all seriousness Eric is graduating from Brigham Young University with a Masters degree in Accounting and will be moving to McLean, VA to join the prestigious accounting firm Ernst & Young.
